 It is that time of the year when every one wants to feel like a kid again and dress up like a super hero or monster and etc.

I like this time of the year because I have great opportunity to do some Halloween Portraits at schools, private parties and etc.

Halloween Photo Shoot is a fun subject to shoot. A lot of creativity and color - I got some amazing pictures.

This year, I bought a special 10′ x 10′ backdrop and some extra props to make my images look a little more impressive.

Here is the first session I did last week, at some local School Fall Festival.

This Wednesday was our PPGF monthly meeting. This one was very special meeting; we had a Print Competition. We had photographers from West Palm Beach, Broward and Dade counties.

I joined PPGF few months ago, and this was my first Print Competition ever. I had no idea what to expect and what picture I should enter to the competition.

Anyway, I entered one print for Commercial Photography and one print for Portrait (the two hardest categories).

The best prints of the day got an average of 80 to 83 points. So, I didn’t get that sad when I got 78 on each one of them.

Anyway, I want to show you both pictures and you tell me what you think. OK?

I just had a great seminar tonight about Family Portrait with Tammy Griffin (from Ocala, FL).

I would like to say an extra thanks to the people of PPGF for this great seminar and all the great prizes.

The topic was “Family Portrait”, including how to manage a home based photography studio”.

As you might know, 90% of my business is Wedding Photography, but once a while I break this rule and try to accommodate some clients that need me to help them with some other events (Bar/ Bat Mitzvah, Sweet Sixteen or even some Portraits).

I loved the way that Tammy explained how she runs her home based photography business, and how she interacts with her clients.

If you live close to Ocala, and need a Photographer, I would recommend you contacting Tammy before you talk to any other photographer in the area. You are not going to regret it.

On the other hand, if you live here in South Florida, just give me a call and I will try to help you with your next Photography Project (events, portraits and etc) the best as I can. All depends on how busy my schedule would be for that period.

If for some reason I can not be your photographer, I will personally help you to find another photographer in this area. OK?
