It’s not a secret how much I love to photograph weddings and how happy the bride and groom look at their special day. But, what does happen to that couple after few years of marriage?
This week, I had the pleasure to be the photographer of Arif and Parveen 20th Anniversary. It was amazing to see how happy they were at he party…, I felt like I was shooting their wedding.
They celebrated their 20th anniversary at Bombay Grill (Indian Restaurant - 4465 North University Dr. Lauderhill, FL 33351) with their family and friends.
The owner of Bombay Grill, Paul Rungta, is an amazing person. He did a great job in arranging the new banquet hall to host the Anniversary Party for Arif and Parveen. Mr. Rungta made sure the food was excellent.
The DJ, Zafar Mithavayani, made the whole event very entertaining. He played Indian music and everyone had a great time dancing.

Most of people know me as Wedding and Portrait Photographer, but I also have Bachelor in Physical Education and Master Degree in Sports and Training.
As a parent of a 6 years old boy and as a soccer coach, I want my son to keep practicing soccer during the summer vacation.
Some parents have asked me if I would coach their child too, and I thought it would be a great idea if we could get together and practice at least once a week.
Our training sessions will be held every Wednesday from 5:30pm to 7:00pm (June, July and August - City of Hollywood, Florida).
Hi, my name is Paulo Jordao - http://www.paulojordao.com, and I am a international Photographer (Weddings and Fine Art Portraits) living in South Florida.
Last Sunday I had an amazing experience with one of my Workshops “Trash the Dress - Light and Location”, for Photographers from Miami - Fort lauderdale - Palm Beaches.
I had checked the location twice before I started marketing this Workshop. It is was a beautiful small park just south of Fort Lauderdale International Airport.
For this Workshop, I Had 19 Photographers, 12 models and 4 Makeup Artists - I also want to enjoy this post to thank all them for their amazing professionalism and beautiful job.
We had 3″ of rain that afternoon and most of people would think that we would not have the courage to go ahead with our schedule, but I am glad we did.
Here are few images of that day, let me know what you think.
If you are a photographer looking to distance yourself from the competition and boring everyday images, you need to keep your mind and eyes opened for opportunities to make some amazing and unique images.
This week I had the honor shooting a family portrait session at Jaime Camara Jr. and Maria Alice’s ranch (an amazing place with features more impressive than most houses that I know). Jaime and Maria Alice are one the most respected couples of the State of Goias and Brazil.
I started the family portrait session at 5:00 pm, and shot until their son lost interest helping me. LOL! But, I had more than 90 minutes with Marcelo, Fernanda and their son, Francisco, and we had so many great shots that it was hard to select only few images to post here.
After the session, I stayed there to shoot Larissa’s birthday party (Jaime and Maria Alice’s daughter). Larissa, Juliano (her husband) and Felipe (her son) are a great example of a beautiful Brazilian family.
It was a very selective party for her family and closest friends, and everybody were very casual and friendly.
I want to enjoy this post to thank Larissa for having me at her wonderful birthday, and also congratulate her on her pregnancy.
Since I couldn’t bring all my gear from USA to Brazil, I did my best to work with as much available light as possible.
Yesterday I had the honor of being the photographer for Zachary’s first birthday.
Here are some reason for that:
I love photography
I love to photograph beautiful people
great food
do I need to mention about money??? LOL
But when I said that it was an honor to be the photographer for Zachary’s first birthday, is because a little more than one year ago, I had the pleasure to photograph one the most beautiful Pregnancy Session that any photographer could wish for, Zachary’s Mom - Ana (Check here her Pregnancy Session)
Back to the birthday party…; it was a party for family and closest friends and even Elmo was there to help entertaining the kids.
Ana asked me to have some Professional Portrait done at the party with her family and guests, so I brought two of my studio lights + a 12′ x 25′ backdrop to have everybody looking their best.
I am still editing the images and in one or two days all the images will be posted on this link - CLICK HERE (PAGE ALREADY ONLINE) -, but since I promised everybody that I would post a Blog with the link, so they could look all the images, I wanted at least show one of the images that I shot there:
Once again, I want to thank everybody form Zachary’s birthday party for for the great time.
You have planed carefully for months and months all the details of this special day that is your Wedding. You booked the church and the reception place; you found your perfect dress and the most gorgeous flowers, you selected the food and drink list, hired a DJ and a Photographer.
The stress of something going wrong at the last minute is not small, but on this article I want to teach you how to avoid at least one of them: The wedding Photography Fiasco.
Let start from the beginning…
1- Before you hire a Wedding Photographer, be sure that he/she is a specialist in Wedding Photography, and not just another photographer that shoots everything, including some weddings.
2- Start doing an Internet search on Google or Yahoo to find few Wedding Photographers not to far from where you live.
3- Look for samples, and testimonials on the Photographer’s Webpage to be sure that you like his/her work and that few other clients also liked him/her.
4- Before you meet the Photographer, it is a good idea to call him/her to be sure that the date is still available and to talk about your budget and what would be included in your Photography Package.
5- When signing the contract, check all the little details and don’t be afraid of asking for further explanations. On your contract, should say all the information about your wedding like; location, date, what time the photographer should be there and what time he/she would end his work time, what kind of album (pages, quality, size, etc) and when you would get it.
No matter how good written the contract is, you just have to trust that you did your best and that nothing wrong is going to happen.
I want to thank Scott Kelby for trusting me again to lead the 2009 Fort Lauderdale Worldwide Photowalk.
We had a great group with a lot of new faces.
Our group start the Photowalk on Las Olas Blvd., in front of Starbucks (2 blocks east of Las Olas Riverfront) and walked east for the total length of 1 mile.
At the end we stopped by Mangos to some drinks and lunch.
If you were part of our group, here is the link (flickr)so you can download your pictures:
Tomorrow - April 10, 2009 - Passion Night Club @ Hard Rock - Hollywood, FL, will be hosting one of the biggest parties of the year.
The theme for this party is Celebrity x Paparazzi, and they are expecting to have the house sold out for the event.
The interesting thing about this party is that they are celebrating a local Photographer’s Birthday (Paulo Jordao) that, together with one of Passion’s VIP Event Planer (Erin Mia Milchman - www.backtothepussycat.com), came with the idea of inviting not only the most beautiful people of Miami Dade, Broward and Palm Beaches, but they also invited a bunch of professional photographers to make this party a truly “Celebrity X Paparazzi” Party.
For sure, this event will be one of that events that people will be talking about for long and long time to come.
Yesterday night, we had once again another great Pussycat Party.
The party was held at PASSION, located at Hard Rock Casino and Hotel in Hollywood, FL.
Pussycat Fridays, as the name suggests, happens every Friday from 10:00pm to 3:30am and it is a perfect place to meet there the most beautiful people from Palm Beaches, Broward and Miami-Dade.
I want to thank you for stopping by and having some time to read and comment on my posts.
This blog was created with you in mind. Here I will post few of my professional work, plus few little things of my personal life. I hope you enjoy my blog as much as I do creating it for you.
