FANCY a government gig earning nearly $6000 a week to chill out on a tropical island?

In an international talent quest for what the Queensland Government is touting as “the best job in the world”, taxpayers will foot the $150,000 salary for a “caretaker” to work on Hamilton Island for six months.

And the six-figure salary will come on top of free luxury accommodation, a car and airfares home.
