Last Sunday I was shooting Micheliny and Danile’s Wedding. It was a small wedding - just for family and close friends and with a beautiful South Florida weather - perfect for some outside shooting.
We decided to go to T.Y Park - Hollywood, FL to take some outside shots. There we enjoyed to take some couple shots, formals, etc.
From there, we went to their house were the ceremony happened.
I just want to wish the best to Micheliny and Daniel.
I love traditional weddings, where I normaly start shooting in the morning (bride getting ready) and ends late at night (reception - cake - etc).
The wedding that I was shooting today was a little different. Alison and Albert got married at the beach in front of the Marriott Hotel (Hollywood, FL). It was not one of the traditional weddings as I just mentioned - this one was a short wedding but with all the 9 yards of a big one.
To start, it was an early wedding on this beautiful Sunday morning (11:00 am), with a perfect weather for this perfect South Florida Wedding. The ceremony was short but very emotional - specially to the bride that had her tears wiped three or four times.
The reception was at the outside restaurant of the Marriott Hotel, where the guests enjoyed the nice weather with great food and live music.
This week I will be editing the pictures and creating their wedding album, but I wanted to show you few of the pictures of this great wedding.
P.S. - If you are a friend or family member of Alison and Albert, I will be posting late this week the address where you can look or purchase all the pictures of their wedding. You can also contact me: 954- 270-0751
Here are few of the pictures from Today’s Wedding:
Tonight I came with Peggy and Ryan to a Super Hero Party.
It was a great party organized by the city of Hollywood, FL - where the kids would dress-up like super heroes. There were few kids dressed as bat-man, super-man, spider-man, etc - Ryan was one the more handsome spider-man of the party.
Cassy and Luke’s Wedding pictures are ready for viewing at my PICTAGE.
The pictures are carefully separated in few different categories to make it easier to you find the picture that you are looking for. Here are the categories:
Yesterday, October 31st, Peggy and I took Ryan to this great Halloween Party.
The party was in a Community Gated area here in Hollywood, FL - where they had 4 huge bouncing houses, hot-dogs, juices, popcorn, etc. The kids were having a blast.
Around 6pm most of the kids and parents started the real Trick or Treat.
I left Peggy and Ryan there asking for candy, and came back home, so I could give candy to the kids that were knocking on my door.
Today - September 25, 2008 - The world lost a saint.
The words can not describe the emptiness in my heart. Today I lost my mom!!!
She was not just my mom:
- She protected me when I didn’t even know that I needed protection
- She gave everything that she could without ask nothing back
- She inspired me to be the man that I am today
No Matter how much I write about her, would still be nothing comparing what she was and how much she meant not just to me, but to everybody that knew her.
Today the world lost a saint - and the haven got one in exchange.
The sadness that I feel in my heart is in somehow selfish, because I know that wherever she is have to be better than haven - she deserve that.
Today I lost part of my heart…
So I have to apologize for this sad post.
I just want to say to my mom…
You were loved even when you felt that you were alone.
I will be posting Cassy and Luke’s Wedding pictures in few days at PICTAGE. Their Engagement pictures are already there, just in case you want to look at them first.
Anyway…
On September 20, 2008(Last Weekend of Summer) - I was photographing one of the most beautiful wedding that I have ever been. The wedding was not just beautiful, but the couple (Cassy and Luke) are the kind of clients that I’ve always dreamed of - fun, happy, energetic, etc…
Yesterday -09/20/08- was a very busy day. I have to shoot Cassy and Luke’s Wedding wedding form 11:00am to 10:00pm and Fabian (an associate of mine) was shooting Elsa and Marcelo’s Wedding from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.
This post is about Elsa and Marcelo’s Wedding, and I will be writing a Post about Cassy and Luke’s Wedding latter - today. OK?
Elsa and Marcelo’s Wedding was a simple wedding - just for few family members and very close friends. The ceremony happened in a house located in Weston (Florida), and they had the nice pool area and backyard as their background for this lovely and fun ceremony.
I was impressed to see the pictures of this beautiful bride and the always smiling groom.
The date is finally here… This Saturday (Sep-20-2008) Cassandra and Luke are getting married.
I can truly say that I have been waiting for this Wedding very anxiously. For me, this is not the Wedding of the month… it is the Wedding of the year.
No matter how much I try to explain and describe the details of this Wedding, the couple’s personality and how much I feel honored to be part of their special day - I just can’t find enough words to realy make you understand about this unique and special wedding.
Cassy and Luke… I hope that my Photography can translate how happy and honored I feel to be there for you.
There are few different kind of Stylists - hair stylist, photo stylist, product stylist, food stylist, prop stylist, fashion stylist and etc. Few stylists even specialize in more than one area of styling. If you think very well, all them are related to photography - catalog - magazines - etc.
When you want to “brain storm” an idea or product - and make it look good in some magazine, catalog, website and etc - you need more than just a great Photographer - you also need a great Stylist.
I am surprised how many people call me to take pictures of their products, not knowing that to have a great commercial picture taken you need more than just a photographer - you need to have a team (photographer, stylist, assistant, art director, etc).
Peggy Chase Jordao (http://www.stylebychase.net) is one of the top photo stylists in America - and she has been represented by two of the most prestigious agencies in the country: FORD and TEAM.
Here are some of her links for commercial Photography and different area of styling:
Last Weekend I Was invited to Michele’s 4th Birthday Party.
The party’s theme was ARIEL (little mermaid) at the YMCA Fort Lauderdale/ Hollywood area (taff st).
The kids were supposed to use the Pool for 2 hours, but because of our “South Florida” peculiar weather, they had to use one of the Aerobic Classes Room to let the kids have some playtime.
The kids had a blast…
OK… Not just the kids!!! I had some fun also.
at the end… It was a fun party! I Felt like a big BIG KID!!!
I want to thank you for stopping by and having some time to read and comment on my posts.
